Frick Park
Pittsburgh has a park like no other: Frick Park. It's a micro forest hidden inside a city. I've been through this park in every weather condition, and there hasn’t been a time when beauty wasn’t on display.
One fall day, on a path closer to the grasp of civilization, this scene caught my attention. With the fall leaves piling up, the pathway clear of visitors, and the light bursting down through the trees, nature was preparing for winter. And I was lucky enough to be in her presence during this moment.
This is one of the first pieces I created using discarded and or used drum heads, and it’s the first piece in the BW Drum Head series.
